After I wake up in the morning,
As I adjust to the dewy light of the day,
While tyring to peal the sleep from my eyes,
Before my daily arguments with family
Usually my mother is feeling argumentative.

Because my room isnt clean,
while my mother is yelling at me,
if i dont clean it shes going to blow,
since i was told seven times,
I eventually clean my room.

Book review for Iron King by Julie Kagawa

The Iron fey series as a whole are simply amazing; the author does a wonderful job of portraying Meghan’s feelings of regret and longing. The first book, Iron King, is probably my favorite though. In the beginning Meghan is just another angst ridden teen trying to survive high school in the outskirts of Louisiana, her best friend Robbie Goodfell in tow. Then on the day of her 16^th birthday her four-year-old brother Ethan gets kidnapped by faeries, Meghan also finds out that her best friend of sixteen years “Robbie” is actually Robin Goodfellow, a.k.a Puck. Together they must travel into the darkest parts of Nevernever looking for Ethan.  Discovering hidden parts of Meghan’s past along with ominous predictions of the future. Soon they are even accompanied by the unfeeling, Unsellie prince Ash; and the cat sithe Grimalkin. Bound by contracts and promises they set out looking for the Iron King, before he finds them.
